Attending monthly meetings keeps us informed about workplace concerns, grievances, safety issues, and upcoming changes that may directly affect you in the workplace. It also provides us with opportunities to get involved through committees, education programs, conferences, and organizing. Most importantly, it gives us a voice in the decision-making process when it comes to things like bylaw changes, representation on the shop floor, and the spending of our dues.
